Our Story

Ms. Rice is a former educator with a Master of Education in Reading from Howard University.  She has taught in public schools in Washington, DC and Prince Georges County, Maryland.  She has also served private, nonprofit and community organizations as a leader, supervisor, director and board chair.  With more than 30 years of experience, she knows what it takes to become a good reader.  That is why she has taken up the charge to support young learners. Ms. Rice affectionately considers the development of Red Desk Education Services, Inc., as her “Next Chapter” – the beginning of a new career in service to others.
