Our Purpose
Red Desk Education Services, Inc., is a philanthropic, nonprofit, 501(C)(3), organization founded in 2020. Our purpose is to foster a love of literacy among children in underserved communities through greater access to quality literature by award-winning authors. Our goal is to create educational experiences to enhance and enrich the lives of children and youth, that encourage them to build home libraries through The Red Book Bus Project.
Red Desk Education Services, Inc. was established during the National COVID-19 Pandemic as a means to support young people struggling with home schooling and the lack of resources including books, computers, and internet access in their homes.
Red Desk Education Services, Inc. is owned and operated by the company president, Shebbie Robinson Rice.
The Red Desk Board of Directors includes members with experience in all levels of education, from pre school to college. They bring a wealth of personal and professional knowledge and experiences to the development of targeted, individualized literacy programs.
